- Hilarious in Hindsight: The subplot involving the Prime Minister being involved in a three-way sex tape took on a whole new level of hilarity when it emerged in 2002 that the then-PM, John Major, had had an extra-marital affair with fellow-Tory MP Edwina Currie. This has naturally led fans to assume that she's the second person in the sex tape, and also to speculation as to who the third person is. Virginia Bottomley (another female Tory MP) is a strong candidate note ... or it could be Michael Portillo in a particularly convincing costume. Or maybe even John's wife Norma.
