YMMV / Blush Blush

Go To

  • Diagnosed by the Audience: At one point, Ace says that he's not good at picking up on social cues, which might suggest autism of some kind.
  • Difficulty Spike: Anon is surprisingly expensive compared to both Garret and Dmitri, who are unlocked after him, and it's likely that a playthrough will finish those two before him because of his requirement for 69 drones, followed by 100 games and a laptop.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse:
    • Out of the phone flings, Poe is currently the most popular, with his announcement on Steam receiving nearly double the amount of likes the other phone fling announcements do and being the first of all Blush Blush Phone Flings to become an Ascended Extra. It's likely due to his cool Goth appearance combined with his comparatively subdued and relatable situation where he's a sleep-deprived college student who still needs to do the homework that he hates.
    • Before Poe was Reece, who was praised for having a really interesting and different story from all the other phone flings since he was a time traveler sent to the player's time. It helped that he has a more distinct "cute" appearance that stood out from all the prior phone flings and the fully-playable boys and seemed to steadily fall for the player during the adventure.
  • Fetish Retardant: Both Cashew and Boss' phone flings have been considered as creepy by some of the playerbase, with the latter being more so.
    • Cashew's phone fling involves him finding a stranger's number in a romance/erotic novel and deciding to call the person up to see if they're just like whoever had that novel says they are.
    • Boss quickly goes from berating the player for not showing up to work (despite being fired) before rapidly stripping down to either his underwear or nothing at all while asking them to help relieve him before he goes to his meeting. It can really come off as a case of workplace harassment.
  • Goddamned Bats: Stirling's requirement for around 67 million neck pillows. They're very cheap (by that level) and the player will likely have more than enough money at that point, but the maximum of a gift you can buy at once is one million, so the process has to be repeated at least 67 times each reset.
  • Paranoia Fuel: After turning him into a half-human or full human, Cole's face in the list of boys will occasionally have his eyes widen and show his unhinged side.
  • Player Punch:
    • Being forced to take Nimh on a roller coaster date at least twice every reset after learning about his heart condition.
    • Starting to date Cole will result in other characters revealing that they've been receiving threats if they're the character switched to from Cole, including the aforementioned Nimh.
