YMMV / Bloody Bunny

Go To

YMMV for Bloody Bunny: The Game:

  • Demonic Spiders: The Evil Chef Minions in Dizzyland, who come in packs of two and three at a time and can tank most of Bloody Bunny’s sword strikes before attacking in an animation that both stunlocks you and leaves you flat on the ground. The only way to reliably demolish them is to enter Rampage Mode and slash until the Execution prompt comes up.
  • Special Effects Failure: Whenever Bloody Bunny performs an execution on specially dressed Minions, it’s the exact same one (her taking their weapon and impaling them in the forehead with it) every time. In addition, the camera will sometimes get stuck behind walls if she performs an execution near them.
    • When Bloody Bunny defeats Bye Bye Kitty, she stabs her in the eye like she did in the show. Problem is, her model dissolves just like the regular Minions do mid-stab.
    • To create the illusion of Dizzyland being populated, the open spaces are filled with low poly, faceless models of Minions. Once the park goes on red alert, though, the models remain walking around and clash with the higher poly models of the Minions attacking you.
  • That One Boss: Bye Bye Kitty, in contrast to her web series counterpart, will absolutely wreck you in your first fight (the second fight with her is an Anti-Climax Boss). To start off, the area you fight in is small and free of any objects that can block her knives, which she fires in patterns that are surprisingly hard to dodge. In addition, you can’t just slash her with your sword since she is Immune to Flinching and will simply throw knives at you to interrupt your attack, forcing you to rely on Throwing Knives, making the battle tedious and long. To top it off, your only source of health besides ramen noodles are the evil chef Minions.
    • The boss right after Bye Bye Kitty, SM Pony, combines the worst elements of a Puzzle Boss and a "Get Back Here!" Boss. You’re on a spinning carousel and she is hiding under one of the eight carousel ponies, only coming out to throw boomerangs at you. To win the fight, you have to destroy the four electrical boxes to make SM Pony vulnerable. This is a good idea in theory... except for the fact that the boxes are super resilient, the boomerangs are thrown once every thirty seconds, and when you do destroy the boxes you’ll find that she has four boomerangs that circle around her that zoom in and out at intervals, leading you to have to jump to avoid them. And you have to do this twice, and the second time SM Pony throws two boomerangs at you and charges you in a nearly impossible to avoid attack.
    • Mr. K, The Dragon to Dark Rabbit, is hard to beat. He’s Immune to Flinching, has a Ground Pound attack that has surprising accuracy, and has a ton of health. All of this combined together leads to one super long fight that tests whether you can beat the final boss.
  • That One Level: Dizzyland. Waves and waves of Minions (Demonic Spiders and otherwise) are thrown at you, and the Extra Lives you get will be wasted when you fight both of the bosses in that level.
    • The train level before Dizzyland counts when you hit the buzzsaw section, where you have to pass through three rooms containing ever quickening buzzsaws that you must pass with perfect timing. Get hit once and you get knocked back. What makes this downright frustrating is that you will most likely land on another buzzsaw, knocking you back further and potentially leading to death if the chain gets too long.
