  • Adorkable:
    • Joel (of all people) lands himself in this category thanks to his childlike enthusiasm and dorky smile.
    • Olli too, thanks to his airheaded tendencies and capability for wide-eyed wonder (and other funny faces).
  • Ascended Meme: Aleksi has wholeheartedly claimed the "Little Man" nickname given to him by the fans. After finding out about it, he joked about making it his Twitter handle, then went on to reference it repeatedly in various videos and appearances. His bandmates have hopped on the bandwagon too.
  • Crack Pairing: After the preview for "Flatline" dropped, fans started jokingly shipping the masked figure on the single cover (AKA Mr. Flatline) with the rose-adorned skeleton (AKA Mr. Skeleton) from the "Bad Idea" video and artwork. There's fanart.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse:
    • The band's rise to stardom has led to several of their staff members blowing up in popularity, especially photographer Kiril Juha Kainulainen. His skill as a photographer and Pretty Boy looks have led to him now having fan pages of his own. Tour manager Santeri Koppelo (AKA Angry Tour Manager) has also grown quite popular thanks to his status as the band's long-suffering Cloudcuckoolander's Minder and the dry humor he uses to deal with his situation.
    • Within the band itself, Aleksi is almost universally beloved by the fans, despite having more of a background role. His solo career as Alex Mattson seems to have nothing to do with it either; fans simply find him charming and cute.
  • Friendly Fandoms:
    • With Måneskin during and after Eurovision, thanks to the two bands being the most notable rock acts of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 and also befriending each other at the event. Both relationships seem to have cooled since, though.
    • With Lost Society and Shiraz Lane (both Finnish rock bands), as they've met at various festivals numerous times. There's a lot of mutual following on Instagram as well. Samy Elbanna (lead singer of Lost Society) even joked on Facebook with Joel about going on a vacation together to the Bahamas.
  • Heartwarming in Hindsight: A lyric in "Timebomb" says, "Me and my boy Alex on the radio." "Alex" refers to the track's feature guest Alex Mattson, AKA sampler/percussionist Aleksi, who later ended up joining the band and getting hugely successful with them thanks to "Dark Side". So now it really is them and their boy Alex on the radio, not just as a collaboration but as bandmates.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: In an old interview from the early days of his solo career, Aleksi (who liked to wear bold colors and designs back then) said that most DJs just wear all-black shirts, jeans and sneakers on stage. Guess how his wardrobe looks now, even as a DJ…
  • Ho Yay:
    • Niko and Joonas kiss each other on the lips a lot. On stage, off stage, at least once while apparently drunk during a celebration, as Niko posted a photo of them kissing with the caption that he had no memory of it happening. There's also an Instagram story of Niko complaining about a drunk Joonas crawling into bed with him and disturbing his sleep.
    • Joel and Aleksi seem to be heading into this territory too. Joel openly adores Aleksi, acting affectionate with him both on stage and off (with displays ranging from passionate hugs to a kiss to the head), and Aleksi, while more reserved on stage, happily cuddles up to him outside of shows. Joel has also referred to their friendship as a "long-lasting love story" before.
    • Joel and Joonas are described as acting Like an Old Married Couple by Niko, have joked about a fight "nearly end[ing] in divorce", and when Joonas was asked by a fan if he could imagine himself in a relationship with Joel, he replied that he and Joel already have a "very very weird relationship".
    • To take it even further, apparently they all kiss each other when drunk, there is footage of them snuggled together in the same bed and standing in…questionable positions naked, and Joel has joked about his bandmates being his five boyfriends before. Make of that what you will.
  • Memetic Mutation:
    • An image of a wide-eyed Joel eagerly draining his beer bottle during Eurovision has been turned into a meme and reaction image. Now subject to Meme Acknowledgment via Joel's Instagram, where he posted the photo with the simple caption, "I'm a meme."
    • 3:37Explanation
  • Narm:
    • The "Outside we skrrt, skrrt / Inside we hurt, hurt" line from "One of Us" is very widely regarded as cringeworthy across the fandom.
    • The "I've got balls the size of Jupiter" line from "Alive or Only Burning" has become a common target of jokes, although it's also frequently seen as Narm Charm.
  • Never Live It Down: Fans are never going to let Olli forget about that time he lost his bass by forgetting it on the roof of a car. If he gets mentioned, the joke is bound to crop up sooner or later. The same goes for Joel's fear of birds, especially seagulls.
  • Signature Song: If you know any song by them, it's probably "Dark Side", their Eurovision entry and breakthrough hit.
  • WTH, Costuming Department?:
    • Aleksi's…daring outfits from before he joined the band are a common target of fandom jokes, due to lots of clashing colors and questionable cuts and layering.
    • Niko's tinfoil-looking silver kimono and shutter shades, although some consider this outfit So Bad, It's Good.
