- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- The gags where Ichigo pretends to be the voice of Unyuu's Quincy bow, becomes hilarious when "Thousand-Year Blood War" shows that Old Man Zangetsu is the manifestation of his Quincy powers.
- Likewise Muramasa offer to free Hollow Ichigo becomes this when its shown that he's Ichigo's actual Zanpakuto spirit.
- Yachiru scaring Ashisogi Jizo becomes this when its revealed she's actually Kenpachi's zanpakuto spirit. No wonder he was terrified.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Koga's Kuchiki wife. We learn almost nothing about her, not even a name, and she remains The Faceless. We never see her interact with Koga at all, despite being his main tie to the Kuchiki Clan or what happened to her afterwards.
