• Awesome Music: The intro montage for all the Let's Plays and streams is set to Orb Trinity's theme.
• Growing the Beard: Each Let's Play is an improvement over the last, with the old ones often preserved for posterity and to remember the groups roots.
• Memetic Mutation: The monthly Cards Against Humanity Let's Play is practically built to create memes. Some of which include:
  • Rolling Around at the Speed of a Horse with No Legs^note A card combination that popped up during one of the earlier games which was so hilarious to the team that it became a staple of their playthrough
  • Five Dollar Soldiers!^note An in-joke that started offscreen: while waiting for Kaiser and Andy to finish playing a game, Blake got to hear them screaming in terror over Fearful producing soldiers to overwhelm them for the low in-game cost of five dollars.
  • Rodriguez, the Mexican Pervert^note Kaiser's dad said this at some point when he was very tired, and he and Andy decided to run with it
  • The Chinese Mafia^note an advanced Emoji that is sometimes used in the chat for Cards Against Humanity, created by Andy
• No Such Thing as Bad Publicity: At some point in-between the Silent Hill 2 Let's Play and the Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando Let's Play, 4chan decided to attack Blake's videos. Instead of being offended by the attack, Blake welcomed the publicity and actually encouraged the channers to keep giving him views and revenue, so that he and Katie could eventually quit their day jobs.
• Schedule Slip:
  • The Jak and Daxter Let's Play went on a two week hiatus because Blake's recording equipment almost killed his computer. Thankfully, this hiatus brought us the Aura Kingdom and Unturned videos.
  • The Borderlands Let's Play started a day or so late because at the time it was supposed to begin, Blake was in the middle of moving to a new house.
  • The Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus Let's Play suffered a huge Schedule Slip due to Blake and Katie getting married and moving again.
  • The Devil May Cry 2 Let's Play started 5 days late because... Blake was being lazy.
  • The March 2017 Let's Play suffered a gigantic Schedule Slip because Blake switched computers and his recording software wouldn't work with the new computer. Instead of waiting any longer, Blake decided to shelve the planned Let's Play of Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal in favor of a Let's Play of Golden Sun.
  • 2018 and 2019 have both suffered multiple Schedule Slips, due to legal battles regarding the Dot Hack G.U. Last Recode Vol. 1: Rebirth Let's Play, favoring livestreams over LPs, and Blake's declining mental health sapping away his energy.
