YMMV / Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King

• Ensemble Dark Horse: Despite being a secondary antagonist, Princia Funnybunny has become loved by many fans for being a powerful female character whose fight with Mereoleona is considered by many viewers to be one of the best parts of the film.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Conrad trying to destroy the Clover Kingdom because he had enough of being constantly being screwed over by corrupt nobles and astriocrats becomes this when it's revealed that his replacement Julius (or more accurately, Lucius) is way worse, having been planned what Conrad is trying to do but on a global scale. Unlike Conrad, Lucius also planned his way of wiping out inequality from the get-go even way before he gets inaugurated.
• Ho Yay: Between Mereoleona and Princia. The two highly respect each other for their strength and really enjoy fighting one another, with Princia thinking to herself that had Mereoleona been around during her time was Wizard King she wouldn't have been as lonely during their battle.
• Signature Scene: Asta using the power of the Imperial Sword combined with his Black form to destroy the meteor Conrad summons as the first anime opening "Haruka Mirai" plays.
