• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Lana Lang's Tough Love attitude towards Kara feels somewhat unfair because Kara lost her people and her mother, and that sort of trauma can't just be pushed away. The story does explain that Kara was feeling guilt and self-hatred as well as self-pity and that being able to aid Bizarro Supergirl gives them both catharsis and possible salvation.
• The Woobie: Bizarro Supergirl. She doesn't have a good handle on what she does, and when she gets it she is too shocked and ashamed at her own actions. Thankfully Supergirl and Bizarro are able to help her out.
