• He Really Can Act: The Doctor effortlessly pulls off a much different persona from his usual one to try and con the Cylinder that he is Banto.
• Older Than They Think: The NuWho 2008 Christmas episode, "The Next Doctor", likewise featured a slightly pompous man claiming to be the Doctor. Unlike here though, that "Doctor" genuinely believed he was the real deal and was still a real hero, while here, well... Zame's a bit of a git.
