YMMV / Big City Greens S 2 E 5

• Harsher in Hindsight: All of "Reckoning Ball", but specifically the scene where Chip tricks the Greens into thinking he's sorry and they sign the contract, becomes this much later into the season, when Chip reveals if it weren't for their advice (especially Cricket's), he wouldn't have become CEO which led to the shutdown of Big Coffee and he and Gloria lose their jobs. Cricket totally felt sorry for this. Especially helped by Cricket's line which builds up to such: "Chip's here to apologize...supposedly."
• Memetic Molester: It's probably best for children not to watch the ending scene, especially Chip's Nightmare Face, without a grownup.
• Shocking Moments: The entire final scene of "Reckoning Ball", where Chip reveals he only tricked the Greens and his dad into thinking he changed so he can become CEO, and now he can focus on running the family out of the city with no one to bother him. Not only were the Greens and Mr. Whistler fooled, but the audience as well. It is that moment he is officially the series' Big Bad, and fans were horrified.
• The Woobie: Surprisingly subverted with Chip here. At first, the audience is led to believe his troubles and they forgive him like the Greens do, but when it's revealed he only tricked them into thinking he's changed so he can take over Wholesome Foods, it casts him in a new light.
