• Ensemble Dark Horse - You'd think that an effeminately campy gay character like Elliot would be hated by the gay community; on the contrary, he is well loved online by the LGBT community for being a hard working, sweet, kind, funny and positive character rather than just another Hard Gay caricature. Being played by Dwayne Johnson also helps.
• Funny Moments:
  • Elliot has many, from his "acting show-off" culminating on the Fascinating Eyebrow, to the sheer hilarity of the super-manly Dwayne Johnson singing "You Ain't Woman Enough to Take My Man".
  • Raji being set on fire, between Vince Vaughn's undignified screams and him running into a music video set - where they keep the footage in!
• Sequelitis: Get Shorty (both the original book and its subsequent movie adaptation) was well received by critics and audiences. Be Cool, however... not so much. Although the book does have a better reputation than the movie. Hilariously, the producers appear to have been somewhat aware about this, Leaning on the Fourth Wall early on by explaining that the reason Chili's getting out of the movie business is because the sequel to Get Leo, which was only made due to Executive Meddling, tanked.
