- Awesome Music: For a fairly overshadowed and average game, the soundtrack is surprisingly full of epic tracks, to the point it has its own page.
- Demonic Spiders:
- Japanese Torpedo Boats and Zeroes in the American single-player campaign would qualify, since they tend to Zerg Rush the nearest friendly formations every time.
- For the Japanese, there's the Corsair and most of the US destroyers, as they can easily wipe out air wings of Zeroes and Oscars if you're not prepared.
- Most Wonderful Sound: Variations of these two gems will be heard a lot during the single player campaign."We've blown them out of the sky, sir!""Shes gone! Enemy ship confirmed sunk!"
- Porting Disaster: While the game's port is well-optimized, it still ran on Games For Windows Live, a profile manager / DRM that is no longer operational. Despite most other games at the time of GFWL's closure has been updated to remove GFWL, this game still uses it. A workaround available here, put it in the installation folder. GFWL can be then safely uninstalled.
- So Okay, It's Average: Most reviewers describe this game as such, noting that it has nothing exceptional to offer, while at the same time still being fun to play.
