• Complete Monster: In Crisis in a Half Shell, Krang is an Utrom warlord and one of the sworn enemies of the Turtles. Discovering the existence of the Omniverse, a collection of different multiverses, Krang decides to destroy it and create his own multiverse out of its parts. To this end he tracked down the Anti-Monitor from Batman's multiverse, killed him and used him as his new body. Creating his Ultra-Technodrome from the parts of Batman's universe, Krang finds the original versions of Batman and the Turtles and captures them, using them to forcefully merge the entire Omniverse into two universes, Dimension X and New Earth, erasing all the rest. When the Turtles and Batman find out about this and started thwarting Krang's schemes by trying to separate their multiverses once again and restore the Omniverse, an angry Krang tries to destroy the whole Earth, so he could rebuild it again, only without the heroes.
• Funny Moments:
  • Batman of all people enjoys eating pizza saying it is really good and Alfred saying he will not get the grease from the pizza off his suit.
  • In Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures issue 2, when Batman, Robin, Batgirl and the Turtles and April find the dimensional portals in their universes, Mikey reaches through it saying that he feels something which is like a gargoyle...at which point we see he's holding an unamused Batman's face as Robin looks confused and Batgirl looks disgusted. Mikey then says "A really angry gargoyle''' at which point Batman's fist slugs Mikey in the face! Then, when Batman, Robin and Batgirl arrive, Robin asks what the situation is to which Batman guesses genetic mutation and ninjitsu training and probably hostile and then a screaming Raph throws his sai at Batman who says "Okay. Definitely hostile. Especially the little one."
  • During the Let's You and Him Fight, Mikey thinking that Robin's a pirate solely because of the R on his costume. Cue Robin knocking Mikey out with a Shoryuken and saying "Just...wow."
• Heartwarming Moments: In issue 4, Batman tells Raphael his backstory and motivation after Raphael accuses him of doing this as a thrillseeker. He explains that he never wants to see anyone's family shattered by something senseless and asks Raphael to help him help his family. He doesn't get a "yes", but the intent is very clear.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Since the Ninja Turtles were announced as Guest Fighters in Injustice 2, it seems this will not be the last time the Heroes in a Half-Shell interact with the DC Universe...
• Memetic Mutation: "This is where I watched my parents die, Raphael."^Explanation A panel from the sequence where Batman takes Raphael to Crime Alley to explain his backstory. The contrast between the dead-serious presentation and the inherent absurdity of Batman saying that line to a Ninja Turtle made the panel a popular subject of both out-of-context reposts and parodies.
  • "Cowabummer!"^Explanation A common addition to the above panel to further highlight the absurdity of the moment. It's became so widespread that some assume it's real and are surprised when they learn it isn't really in the comic.
