• Alternate Character Interpretation:
  • To what extent were Paxton's plans against his father? Did he fully intend to murder him or was the original plan meant to stop after exposing him only for Powers's belittlements to push him even further? Is Paxton just lashing out at Derek for being a horrible father?
  • Terry (as Batman) intervenes in the Wayne-Powers meeting derailed by Blight, then Bruce tells him "I'm fine... Batman", with a noticeably long pause before saying "Batman". Did Bruce make a deliberate effort to sound more formal than in his usual exchanges with Terry (to not provide clues which may blow Terry's cover and the relation between Bruce Wayne and Batman — the scene had witnesses)? Or did he feel awkward to be saved by Batman, since he isn't Batman anymore (the earlier episode "Shriek" establish Bruce refers to himself as "Batman" instead of "Bruce" in his inner speech)? Perhaps even a mix of both?
• Memetic Mutation: Blight's line "Do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down?" was a But for Me, It Was Tuesday moment, but it turned out to be extremely quotable in a lot of situations online (choosing between several similar examples of a person, or transplanting other villains on top of Blight who have killed a hero's father).
