  • Inque, rather than a mercenary who became what she was for the money, was a science experiment who was rescued and raised by one of the scientists who created her…up until she learned the truth about what she was. Also, rather than being an adult, she is one year younger than Jake Vance.
  • Ira Billings, a.k.a. Spellbinder, was a high school psychologist in this story, like in the show, but in this rendition he was fired for testing chemicals on kids, and escaped prison after 40 years with the help of Ra’s al Ghul, with whom he teamed up in exchange.
  • Payback is significantly more brutal in this version, and is also Jake’s mother, who became The Atoner to make up for past actions towards her son.
