- The show gained something of a cult following in the United Kingdom in the mid 2000's, where it aired in between segments of the BBC's Saturday morning show Dick & Dom in da Bungalow.
- Long prior to that, it was popular throughout the 80s and 90s when broadcast on the BBC and was also shown on Channel 4, usually just after the news.
- Values Dissonance: Karate is quite the bundle of Asian stereotypes, from the way he looks to the All Asians Know Martial Arts trope. Of course, his voice actor tried to tone it down by giving him a more Don Adams-type voice in later episodes, I’m addition to his buck teeth largely being absent later on. That said, if this series was remade the dude would be an Ethnic Scrappy.
