- Awesome Music: The dance mix version of 'My Heart Will Go On' from Titanic that plays during the drug sequence.
- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: Even for a very strange film like this, the scene with the talking crab "Morgan Freemond" is quite random. He appears briefly to talk to Star, then melodramatically disappears into the ocean and doesn't appear in the main plot at all after that, only appearing for a few seconds in the Dance Party Ending.
- Crosses the Line Twice: Sharon's backstory and motive for wanting to destroy the town is so over-the-top, it's hilarious.
- Funny Moments:
- The recurring piano player, Richard Cheese, who only ever sings about how much he loves boobs... Except for the time he instead sings a happy-sounding lounge song about how his friends from high school are dead.
- The entire drug trip that Barb, Star, and Edgar experience.
- Darlie's disguise at the climax, consisting of sunglasses, an umbrella hat, and an oversized bikini t-shirt. Plus him bragging about how they didn't recognize him.
