• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • The titular hero would share the same name with another superhero: the Tarzan Boy Banana Man from Patch the Pirate. What makes it more ironic is that the former did a Vine Swing with a Tarzan yell at one point in the episode, "The Last Banana".
  • Speaking of sharing names, there wouldn't be only one Fiona who was a Redhead In Green anymore...
  • Also, try not to have Tally Hall come to mind. “Banana Man, me want a ton…”.
• So Bad, It's Good: The show is very much a product of The Dark Age of Animation, due to its corny jokes, cheap animation, and atrocious sound mix, though as it's intended to be a parody of cookie-cutter superhero shows, some viewers agree the sloppiness makes it so much more entertaining.
