• Aluminum Christmas Trees: Amid the criticism of casting fair-skinned actors of partly Caucasian descent in a story inspired by pre-colonial Philippine mythology, there was actually a hero in the Epic of Ibalong from the Bicol Region named Baltog who is sometimes described as pale-skinned. He is from Botavara/Bharata-varsha/India and The Other Wiki and other sources outright describes him as a White Aryan (that is, Indo-Iranian).
