- Fandom Rivalry: The casting of Lady Morella in this episode was meant to address the one that existed between Babylon 5 and Star Trek, since Majel Barrett-Roddenberry, as the "First Lady of Star Trek", appeared on this show as something of a "goodwill ambassador" and to help quell the rivalry between the two fandoms. She confirmed that she was a fan of Babylon 5 and urged Trek fans to give it a chance.
