  • Narm: Sheridan's speech to the crew is supposed to ultimately show how humble he is, via his Socratic type "I know nothing" conclusion, but the leadup leaves a lot to be desired. His story about how he, the son of a diplomat, went to Tibet and met the Dalai Lama when he was young reeks of rich kid privilege to take time backpacking overseas. His speech also concludes with a quote, which he prefaces with "It was an old Earth president who best described our current situation." So either he changes the quote to suit the command he's taking (in which case it's not the same speech he always gives), or he applies that quote to whatever situation his new command is in regardless of how applicable it might be.
