YMMV / B-Daman Crossfire

Go To

  • Adorkable: Riki, especially when the mentions of archeology are involved.
  • Awesome Music:
    • Both English and Japanese Openings and Endings for Crossfire - TRUTH and The Wings' Outcome sung by RIN and Victory and Hope sung by Jovetta Rivera.
    • The Japanese theme songs for Fireblast - Dream and Ray of Light by Outer Tribe.
    • The background music.
  • Broken Base: Hasbro changing some of the names and nerfing some of the unique designs and abilities of each B-Daman. Some fans don't mind the minor changes, others disagree.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Novu remains one of the most popular characters of the B-Daman series, even in-universe until his reveal in episode 8. His popularity increased for fans in episode 25 after his Heel–Face Turn.
  • Friendly Fandoms: With Beyblade. They are sister franchises; being from the same company and all.
  • Ho Yay: Riki and Samuru have moments of this. How many pubescent boys hold hands?
  • Narm: The English dub, while the voice acting isn't too bad like Battle B-Daman Fire Spirits, the script is really sub-par, to the point where they don't explain how the B-Daman parts work.
  • Retroactive Recognition: The Brazilian Portuguese dub used to cast a younger Tanjiro Kamado (Daniel Figueira) as the protagonist Riki.
  • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: There's a lot of emphasis placed in how a talking B-Daman is special and a rarity. Despite this, virtually no B-Damans outside the dragons are seen talking beyond their By the Power of Grayskull! lines, meaning they also get no characterization whatsoever. However, this issue has been resolved in its sequel series B-Daman Fireblast.
