• Demonic Spiders: The Guardian Robots, which you encounter later in the story campaign and you have to engage with your expedition ships. They are extremely dangerous and can easily cause casualties and fatalities among your expedition crews should you choose to engage them. And in later campaign missions, you have to engage them to acquire alien artifacts to fulfill the story objectives. Even on the "Cakewalk" difficulty with a fully upgraded, fully staffed, 200% efficient expedition ship, there is still a 50/50 chance the battle will be lost, the ship will get damaged, and some crew members will get injured or killed.
• Play the Game, Skip the Story: The story is pretty bare bones and is even missing an ending cutscene in some versions.
