  • Awesome Music: The reprise of "Immi Best" in particular, being a hard-rock song instead of the standard children's music of the rest of the play.
  • Ho Yay: Mæja/Gedda. In the "Fandalaggahoj!" musical number, they sing and dance with each other, and hold hands. It could be argued that they are just acting like young children, but given the What Do You Mean, It's for Kids? (see below) nature of the show, that is unlikely.
  • What Do You Mean, It's for Kids?: Even though it looks like a children's play, it contains themes of prejudice and discrimination in nearly every character and scene.
    • All of the fruits treat Mæja, and later Gedda, badly because of their species. They straight-up use them as slave laborers, and threaten to put them into the clearly-visible rotting hole.
      • Mæja is just as mean and rude toward Gedda as the rest of the fruits were before Gedda showed up.
    • Goofy Banana treats Green Banana badly because of Green Banana's learning difficulties.
