YMMV / Avatar: The Last Airbender - Azula in the Spirit Temple

Go To

  • Alternate Character Interpretation: Two for Azula.
    • During one of dream sequences, was the appearance of Ruon-Jian was her regret of choosing Chan over him, or inability to find differences between the two due to her asocial nature?
    • In the ending, did she learn some sense of compassion or a sense of superiority when she saw her former followers reunited with their straggling friends but decided not to eliminate them?
  • Funny Moments: Sometime after getting knocked out and restrained by Azula within the temple, "Ty Lee" reveals herself to be another of the temple's manifestations by taking on Mai's appearance, causing Azula to complain to the temple spirit about being presented with yet another piece of spiritual trickery. The spirit just shrugs and grins, as if telling her "What can I say? It's my nature."
