• Awesome Music: For an obscure H-Game, the songs are really good.
• Cult Classic: In Japan.
• Moral Event Horizon: In one possible path, the older brother of one of Hatsune's possible targets becomes too suspicious. Hatsune uses his little sister to lure him to his death.
• The Woobie: Kanako. Before meeting Hatsune she was targeted by delinquents because she came from a rich family, and was powerless to anything against repeated sexual assaults from them. On top of all this her father was blind to what was happening in her life. Her life doesn't improve until she meets and falls in love with a monster. In one possible ending, she becomes jorōgumo and is unable to live as a human, going half insane. She gives birth to another jorōgumo that looks like Hatsune and starts treating it the real Hatsune, which only drives her away.
  • Kanako's father to lesser extent. He knew nothing about what his daughter was going through, and when he does he sees how terrible a parent he had been.
