• Adorkable: All six of them; even though they all have matured a good bit since their debut, especially the maknaes, their dork-y side has remained intact through the years.
• Awesome Music: Enough to have its own page, here.
• Broken Base: The concept change and the music transition throughout the years. While it has been pretty well received among the fans themselves, opinions outside of the fandom tend to be diverse, with some people saying that the transition was a rough one, and others saying that it was actually pretty smooth, considering the diversity in concepts.
• Epileptic Trees: The members once mentioned that the music videos for "All Night" and "Blue Flame" are connected, leading to a bunch of theories among the fandom.
  • Likewise, "Knock" and "Bad Idea" are also connected. One of the most popular theories about these two is that both Eunwoo and Moon Bin end up travelling back in time, but land in different dimensions- Eunwoo is successful at saving Sanha at the right time, while Moon Bin, on the other hand, arrives a little too 'late' and has to cure Sanha of his nightmares in order to rescue him.
• Friendly Fandoms: Quite a few.
  • With Ki-lings (Weki Meki), understandably, since both Astro and Weki Meki are managed under Fantagio Music.
  • With Carats (Seventeen). Both the groups have members who are close friends (Eunwoo and Mingyu, Moon Bin and Seungkwan, etc.), and both stayed in nearby dorms during their earlier years (predebut, especially). This automatically became a reason for the affectionate interactions between Arohas and Carats as well.
  • Arohas and Verrers (Verivery) have had quite wholesome interactions, because of the Show Champion MC trio consisting of Moon Bin, Sanha and Kangmin.
  • With Shawols (SHINee), particularly due to ASTRO's cover of "Replay", a performance that attracted a good bit of Shawols.
  • With Universe (Pentagon). Hui and MJ being in a trot group, and Jinjin and Kino being the hosts of a podcast- these two things especially boosted the good vibe between both the fandoms. It's not uncommon to see them supporting each other's groups whenever there is a comeback.
  • With Cassiopeia (TVXQ!), because of Moon Bin's appearance in TVXQ's Balloons music video as a child. Astro has also covered a couple of TVXQ songs (Balloons and Mirotic) in the past, and both were quite well received by Cassiopeias.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Moon Bin joking about being the one of the oldest employees of Fantagio (the other one being Rocky). While he does talk about it in a more lighthearted manner, it still serves as a reminder of just how many the changes the company and its staff have gone through ever since the whole Fantagio crisis happened.
• He Really Can Act: Because of his "face genius" title, Eunwoo's detractors love to spread the misinformed narrative that 'he only gets role because he is pretty'. Eunwoo himself though, has proven himself to be more than a capable actor with his performances in My ID is Gangnam Beauty, Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung and True Beauty. His portrayal of Lee Suho in the drama True Beauty, in particular, earned a lot of praise from the director and netizens alike.
  • Fans were taken aback by Moonbin's acting in At Eighteen too, especially by how nuanced and well done his delivery of Oh Je was.
  • Rocky's pretty awesome at acting. Just look at his convincing delivery of Choi Jeongsan in the web drama Find Me If You Can.
  • MJ had everyone(fans and non-fans alike) floored and speechless with his acting in the musicals 'Everybody's Talking about Jamie' and 'Jack the Ripper'. What's even more impressive is the range of the characters, from a drag queen to a surgeon who's willing to give up everything for his lover.

• Ho Yay:
  • Rocky loves to tease Eunwoo, and is also one of the clingiest members in the group, along with Sanha.
  • Jinjin, with his whole 'Kissing Time' agenda since the end of "All Yours" promotions.^note  During the concluding vlive for "All Yours" era, MJ asked Jinjin to say/do something to 'lift the mood'. Jinjin in turn responded by saying "It's.... Kissing time!!" much to the members' astonishment, sending them reeling with laughter.
    • For the encore stage of their first win on Music Bank, Jinjin gave each of the members a peck... as a present. They also uploaded the photo of themselves with the lip-stick marks. Iconic.
    • And Eunwoo posted this picture (on the third slide) on his instagram account, causing some hilarious confusion among his solo stans^note  Fans who are usually unaware of Eunwoo's activities in Astro., to say the least.
• Memetic Mutation: There are many, many instances of these, considering the dorks they are. Moon Bin in particular often tends to be the source of memes (even earning the nickname "Meme-bin"), though the other members aren't any less either.
  • Eunwoo's part in "Polaris" where he says "Gachi Gallae?"^note  Meaning,"Wanna come together?".
  • MJ's attempts at speaking English often turn to this:
    • "I think you think same same"
    • "Very very yes"
    • "SPEAK ENGLISH NO!!"
    • "bEaUtiFuL cOmPaNY kAzAkhsTaN"^note  What he meant to say here was "beautiful country Kazakhstan", but ended up saying "company" instead of "country"
    • "I like chicken, pizza, and... Dunkin' Donuts!"^note This one is from Eric Nam's Daebak Show, and even sent the host, Eric, reeling with laughter.
  • "If you need money, call me"- Jinjin, 2019
  • Jinjin and buttons.
  • Sanha's infamous "bbu-bbu".
  • "Life is always like that"- Rocky, 2020^note In a Soompi interview, the members were asked how would they console a crying kid, and this was Rocky's answer.
  • MJ dancing to "All Night" in a banana suit as a punishment in the episode of "When Manager Falls Asleep" they guested in. In the same episode, he also choked on his pepsi while trying to do the ASMR. Rocky's little sneeze, and subsequent "sowwy" also remain some iconic yet hilarious moments. Here, go watch it for a good laugh.

• The Woobie: All of them at a point, especially during the Fantagio crisis. Just try to get through their speeches at the end of "The 2nd ASTROAD to Seoul [STAR LIGHT without crying. The boys finally opened up about the happenings in their company, and that not all was as fine as it appeared to be.
  • Because of how Prone to Tears Jinjin is, it's hard not to get the urge to hug him just about anytime he cries. Out of all the members, he is usually the most active on social media as well, and he is known to lurk a lot on Twitter (which is known to be quite the negative platform because of the toxicity it inbreeds)... and is also a very sensitive and kind person.
  • MJ, particularly throughout the first half of 2022. Everything that happened up until his enlistment just makes one want to give the man a big tight hug.
