• Les Yay: There's a fair amount of it between Raphaëlle and Astrid, to the point of people In-Universe calling them "Astraëlle". Astrid gives Raphe a thimble as a birthday present to symbolize how Raphe protects her from the world, and Raphe is also the first person she's ever allowed into her apartment. The only explicit relationships in the main cast are heterosexual: Raphe is divorced from the father of her teenage son and is oblivious to her partner Nicolas's feelings for her at first, while Astrid has a mutual crush on her grocer's nephew Tetsuo Tanaka.
