  • Macie and Hoodsey are married. He has an established crush on her, there's a ring on his left hand in the finale and they're sitting very close to each other.
  • Since Courtney, Miranda, Jonas, Brandon, Blake and Noelle aren't seen at Ginger's book reading - fans imagine it's a sign they're not doing well in the future.
  • Ginger and Darren's daughter is called Sophia, as that's what Melissa Disney thought Ginger would call her.
• Fanfic Fuel: The epilogue shows that Ginger and Darren got together, as did Dodie and Chet and Macie and Hoosey! It leaves plenty of fan fiction possibilities open for the twenty years that pass between the scenes.
• It Was His Sled: Darren holds up a red-haired baby, implying he and Ginger get married in the future.
• Padding: The music video for "You Bounced" that Ginger falls asleep while watching, and then imagines herself in with Darren. It doesn't tell the audience anything not already said, and puts the plot on hold for three minutes. It's catchy though!
• Trapped by Mountain Lions: Jonas seeing Dave and Nikki together, and pictures leading Carl to believe he's behind the Relationship Sabotage goes absolutely nowhere - and the plot could have unfolded as normal without his involvement.
• Values Dissonance: Safe to say, Nikki's Unsettling Gender-Reveal has not aged well.
• The Woobie: Poor Courtney! In addition to how horribly she's been bullied since starting high school, now she's left broke thanks to her father's crimes. She's reduced to hysterical tears in the school bathroom.
