Memetic Mutation: In one scene, Emily asks D.W. to be her partner. D.W. turns to her left and sees a boy next to her who happens to be a Chocolate Labrador. D.W. then turns back to Emily and dejectedly agrees. This scene briefly went viral on Twitter in the 2020s due to the racial implications of the scene, seeing that the lab boy had dark brown fur, and D.W. instantly snubbed him for the white Emily.
