• Angst? What Angst?: Out of all the characters, Moira seems the least upset by Oliver's death. She's given a few sad moments, but shows little of the agony you'd expect from a mother who'd lost her only son. Sure, Moira was always the reserved type, but this beggars belief.
• Fan Fic Fuel: Though it's already been cast around for years, fans wonder how the previous seasons of the show would've turned out with the presence of the characters who were resurrected by Oliver.
  • Kara appearing alongside Barry at Oliver's funeral can be considered this for Karry Shippers.
• Fridge Brilliance: Oliver’s choice not to bring back Earth-1 Laurel saves both Laurels from going through developing the same neurological problems doppelgängers Beth and Alice would on Batwoman, that resulted in the former’s death. Oliver’s omnipotence as Spectre means he was probably aware of such developments.
• Memetic Mutation: A behind-the-scenes photo from this episode's production really took off in popularity as a meme format, even well outside fandom circles of the Arrowverse.
• One-Scene Wonder: Kara Danvers appears at the funeral alongside Barry, marking her only appearance on Arrow outside of crossovers.
• Take That, Scrappy!: Some mused that original Laurel not being restored to life was this, remembering executive producer Marc Guggenheim's avowed dislike for the character.
