- Funny Moments:
- This video starts with Arlo standing in front of a massive pile of Starlink: Battle for Atlas copies, claiming that "I can explain everything".
- As Arlo was set to take down an old poster wall that he had behind his green screen, he remarked that it was time to come down... and then part of a Samus poster ends up falling down mere seconds after.
- Arlo's reaction to the Metroid Dread trailer. To say he's excited is like saying a nuclear explosion is "a little noisy."
- If the Metroid Dread announcement had him excited, the Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door remake announcement broke his brain. His thumbnail for his reaction video is him unleashing a Skyward Scream while firing Eye Beams. It Makes Just as Much Sense in Context.
- His reaction to Pikmin 4's official announcement is both this and heartwarming. He sounds as if he's on the verge of tears of complete and utter relief from having to temper his expectations for several years on end, and the thumbnail for the video is him reenacting AZ having his Pokemon choose to return to him after three thousand years of wandering the world alone.
- His highly contagious peals of hysterical laughter at the casting announcement for The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
- At the end of his video criticizing inflated microtransactions for cosmetic items in Pokémon Unite, he suggests some more worthwhile ways to spend forty dollars than buying a character skin in a video game. His suggestions include include buying a massive pack of sticky notes and sticking them all over a tractor and buying a huge box of crayons to melt down into a massive mega-crayon.
- Heartwarming Moments: At the end of a video where he announces longer breaks between uploads to give himself time to rest, he expresses his deep appreciation for his longtime viewers.
- His Pikmin 4 announcement reaction. The Metroid Prime 4 and Metroid Dread announcements made him scream and freak out. This one may have made him cry.
- He Panned It, Now He Sucks!:
- An unusual case with Hey! Pikmin when its trailer was released, Arlo went on a huge rant about the game and harshly criticized Nintendo for making some of their 3D franchises into 2D platformers. Even those who also disliked the trailer felt Arlo was completely overreacting and many found his fears that Hey! Pikmin was Pikmin 4 silly. Interestingly, Arlo now agrees with the fans and took the video down from his channel.
- Arlo has developed a bit of a reputation for accentuating the negative in many of his videos, most often when talking about Nintendo. Though, in his defense, he's stated in recent videos that he doesn't like being so negative, and Nintendo is the main focus of his entire channel. He'll usually only talk about other game publishers or consoles for purposes of comparison and only does reviews for games that are released on Nintendo's console, so any video he does, positive or negative, is likely going to focus on Nintendo.
- He anticipates this response to his rants on Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, to the point that he warns the audience at the start of his first impressions video and the review proper not to watch if they aren't ready for negativity. Even the title of the latter video actively discourages viewing.
- Arlo has quickly gone under fire from Sonic fans for his negative review of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022), which had many accuse him of being overly nit-picky and rant-y in nature, on top of making numerous errors throughout the review. Many also didn't like that he attacked and accused the film's staff of not caring about the games (despite several of the people involved, such as Tyson Hesse, being major fans of the games), seeing it as unprofessional in nature. Arlo has even acknowledged that people will likely hate his review in the video itself. The controversy would become so great that he would later make a video addressing it.
- Memetic Mutation:
- "Ooooohh, so you want Nintendo to release a Zelda game every year like Call of Duty, huh?!"Explanation
- "Yeah, but Solid Snake." Explanation
- "Butternut Squash? Yes please!" Explanation
