- Anticlimax Boss: Defeating The Ultimate Evil is substantially easier than Alec Trevelyan. It may be stronger than he was, but you have gotten stronger in the intervening five levels as well, making it a comparatively easier fight, especially since there's not much special about it, besides the high stats.
- Demonic Spiders: Skeleton Mages. They can attack at both melee and range, as well as being immune to all spells and all ranged attacks.
- Game-Breaker: Managing to obtain both ranged and melee weapons with "Draining" effect usually helps a whole lot, because they allow you to exhaust the enemy, which leaves them stranded in place and devoid of any of their abilities.
