• Complete Monster: Ango Agatha, the true villain of the series, is the first to come out as a superpowered "Altered". A brilliant quantum physicist analyzing the effects of the Altereds on the world, Agatha began to conduct horrific experiments on innocent Altereds that resulted in many being tortured, killed or enslaved. Series hero Jin Kazaragi and his brother Rei escaped Agatha as children, only for Agatha to later manipulate Rei as his pawn to begin awakening Altereds which resulted in massive explosions that killed thousands, culminating in the Lotus Flower Incident that killed 8,000 civilians. Later having Rei form the Ubermenschen Union, Agatha orchestrates many more deaths via his attack squads or bombing campaigns while pitting Rei against his brother. Finally, Agatha reveals he intends to control the path of evolution, seeking to recreate the incident that created the Altereds which will kill all but .02 percent of humanity.
