  • Awesome Music: The end credits music is six minutes of awesome, and is one of the few, if not the only, use of 8-channel music on the Amiga platform (which has 4-channel audio hardware) in a commercial game. The techno music that plays in the fourth zone was also regarded by gaming magazins at the time to be very groundbreaking.
  • Nausea Fuel: Ranges from slightly gross to disgusting. The problem with having real animals as enemies (especially insects) is that they don't die cleanly, resulting in many instances of insect heads being blown off. The first boss of the sewer level is the by far the most infamous, in which you come across a dead rat that bursts open, revealing three enormous maggots that attack you. If you thought that was bad enough: After you kill the maggots, you can fly inside the rat and enter a Bonus Stage, whose "background music" is nothing but sloshing liquid.
  • Nightmare Fuel: The final boss rush stage has this kind of feel, but it takes either the Creepy Doll or the deformed heart-boss to make it truly nightmarish.
  • Retroactive Recognition: Nowadays, KAIKO is known as the developer that develop the remastered version of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and even created continuation DLC for it.
  • Suspiciously Similar Song: The theme for level 4-1 is more-or-less an instrumental version of "James Brown is Dead" by L.A. Style, to the point that it even uses the same samples.
