• Crossover Ship: Annabelle is sometimes paired with Chucky for maximum creepiness.
• Narm:
  • This movie asks us over and over to accept that the horrifically creepy-looking doll is something everyone falls over themselves to proclaim how beautiful it is.
  • There's also a scene where the main character sees a demon in the storage room, runs to the elevator and presses the button for her floor. The doors close, a few seconds pass, and then the door opens again to reveal that the elevator is still on the storage room floor. This happens a few times and the way it's shot, it looks like the demon is pressing the button to keep the elevator there.
  • John brings home the titular doll to his wife who Squees that it finally completes her collection...of three dolls that have no similar characteristics besides the same dress.
• Sequelitis: Or rather, Prequelitis, as it doesn't live up to the reputation of The Conjuring.
