- Nightmare Fuel: More and more prevalent as the current story-arc goes on...but especially the "Top 8 Most Insane Animated Villains." Stephan actually had to put up a disclaimer before the review, warning for disturbing imagery.
- Also when the voice inside Stephan's head takes over. He's seen in his bed rolling and being restless, and then seems to calm down. And then his eyes snap open and the biggest, most unnerving Slasher Smile appears on his face.
- Squick: Stephan has a lot of this in response to Corpse Bride.
- In-verse, Stephan gags in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars review to the idea of Jabba the Hut reproducing and having a son. Stephan's gagging becomes this to the audience, especially when he reveals at the end of the review that he has small gag reflex. So, he is ACTUALLY gagging during those takes.
- What Do You Mean, It's for Kids?: Stephan and Nootrac get increasingly distressed while watching The Brave Little Toaster.Stephan: WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS MOVIE?!?!
- They have a similar reaction to Wizards.
- The Woobie: Stephan. When he was little he had no friends and was so lonely that he made a Deal with the Devil in order to get a friend.
- Nootrac, too. He is immature, but the way Stephen often treats him still isn't very nice.
