YMMV / Animaniacs Episode 5

• Fair for Its Day: The gags of Yakko and Wakko greeting Hello Nurse by giving her unwanted kisses are at least told off by Scratchansniff for not being polite.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: The xenomorph runs off in terror when faced with Dot's pet. In the episode "Space Probed", Dot would introduce the alien to her pet again...and this time they would fall in love!
• Moe: In contrast to his treatment of Hello Nurse, when Yakko finally meets Michelle Pfeiffer, he adorably asks if he can have a spot on her dance card; a quaint term meaning he'd like to dance with her later.
• Unintentional Period Piece: This one wears the early 90's on its sleeve unashamedly. A party featuring Hollywood stars contains timely references to the pop culture of the day - among others, Michelle Pfeiffer goes dressed as Catwoman (with Danny DeVito also cameoing as The Penguin), Thelma & Louise landing on the red carpet, Dot Squeeing over Mel Gibson (who has the long hair from Lethal Weapon 3, the only one he has long hair in), Wayne and Garth, Madonna in her famous 90's 'cone bra', a very much alive Bea Arthur (passed away in 2009) and especially Ellen Ripley at a table with a xenomorph. That one sticks out because a joke is made about her shaved head, referencing the then most current movie in the franchise, Alien³ (which, as one of the most divisive entries, did not have the staying power of the first two).
