• Fan-Preferred Couple: Due to the great chemistry Gunn and Gwen had in this episode, along with Fred ultimately ending up with Wesley, many fans who wanted to see Gunn find happiness with someone like to ship Gunn and Gwen together. Not that it would have lasted anyway since Gunn may have died right after the finale episode, one year later, but still.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Cordelia says, "Everything's been Clash of the Titans around here." Coincidentally, Alexa Davalos (Gwen Raiden) would later go on to play Andromeda in Clash of the Titans (2010).
