• Creator's Pet: The author seems to be very fond of Medea, and it shows a little bit too strongly in the way Taylor talks about her, complete with overlong blow-by-blow explanations of how badly mistreated she was by Jason repeated in several places across the story.
• Fan-Disliked Explanation: The story builds up a particular hero in Taylor's repertoire that could have easily solved many of the problems she faced, but for some vague reason she refuses to call on them. When it was revealed that the hero in question was Khepri, the final cape form of canon Taylor, the readership was less than enthused, especially since after Taylor finally caved in and used said hero, it didn't actually do anything for the problem at hand and she needed to call two others, both of which she used extensively before in the story, to iron things out.
