• Epileptic Trees: If Sana's powers are limited only by her imagination and in general may not be controllable, does this mean that she is actually much more dangerous than she seems and can destroy our planet or realize absolutely anything like zombies or Cthulhu?
• Les Yay: It seems that Noriko admires Ichijo so much that only a shaky edge separates her from a real declaration of love.
• Nightmare Fuel:
  • The hands of Minnie C's husband can be quite frightening and oppressive in the first half of the show, when we do not see their source and because of what, at the time, seems like there is a huge man close by.
  • The scene where Sana gets shot in the leg. Zoroku is trying to get to her and calm her down, but his speech is interrupted by a terrifying gunshot. We actually get to Sana suffer and bleed out when she gets the wound.
• What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids?: Many people find themselves puzzled when they take this series for shonen because its setting and advertising seems more fantasy slice of life. Then they discover that it's seinen, which raises topics like learning subconsciously, experiments on children and existentialism.
