  • Funny Moments : Given this was inspired by American newspaper comic strips, it's bound to have a good amount of such moments.
    • Hornet calling Akagi-chan's Base Game Warden Paper-Thin Disguise "Little Safari Mario"
      • Which later comes back when Hornet is shocked to discover that Akagi-chan has already manged to become "bestest buds" with the infamously temperamental Grim, who has only just started warming up to Hornet herself.
Hornet: ...Well maybe I should dress up a Little Safari Mario.
    • Columbia and South Dakota comment on Enterprise mentoring Akagi-chan, and it is stated during the conversation that Akagi-chan wouldn't have to worry about the petty rivalry and mean-spiritedness of the Sakura Empire Carrier Army in the Eagle Union barracks. Cue Essex stewing in jealousy as she glares at Akagi-chan walking side-by-side with Enterprise.
    • Akagi-chan starts to read up on the Eagle Union's history. When she finds out about the Royal Navy's colonization...she doesn't take it well.
    Akagi-chan: Why, those double-crossing, tea-swilling, crumpet-munching, kipper-sniffing, atrocity-committing limey twerps!
    • As a follow-up to the above, not aware that period was LONG over, she decides to get back at them. By dressing up as a native american, attempting to Boston Tea Party the Royal Navy's tea supplies...and bombarding Queen Elizabeth with water baloons.
    • When Bismark is drowning her sorrows over her failed attempts at patching things up with Hood and Akagi-chan has to drive her home since she's drunk, they get pulled over by the police. Then the following exchange takes place:
Officer: Chief, we have the mother of all 10-38's here. Got a late model Hellcat with a catatonic, likely intoxicated adult female mumblin' something about Denmark Straights; A minor female saying she's an aircraft carrier-
Chief: ...whoah, whoah, whoah. Which one's in the driver's seat?
    Officer: ...th' eagle.
    • Afterwards, it turns out they were let off with a warning in part because the Chief did not feel like the hassle of arresting an endangered species.
    • Amagi-chan has to be the navy's mascot for the Navy-Army game at the Eagle Union Naval Academy. 2 people from the army decide to kidnap Amagi-chan and Bill the Goat to get a psychological edge at the upcoming game. When asked where they were stowed, one of the 2 states that they were locked up in a turret with "walls so thick nothing short of Naval Artil-"*KA-BOOM*
  • Heartwarming Moments :
    • Pretty much everything to do with Enterprise and Akagi-chan's sisterly bond. A few moments of note include:
      • Enterprise gently pushing away a plate with a donut towards an Akagi-chan in hiding so she can eat it.
      • Enterprise playing along with Akagi-chan's Paper-Thin Disguise as base game warden so she can "capture" Grim.
      • Enty immediately deciding they're keeping Akagi-chan when Yorktown takes her to their room and she finds Akagi-chan sleeping in her bed.
    • How welcoming the entire Eagle Union (sans Essex) is of Akagi-chan. Enterprise imemdiately decides to keep her when she finds her sleeping in her bed with Grim. Grim himself, who'd attack Akagi on sight and whom Kaga has to wear a mask to keep him away, is immediately trusting of her, Yorktown's reaction to her handing an intent to defect while crying her heart out is to let her cry herself to sleep in their room. Raleigh admires her eagerness to learn and Cleveland outright calls her USS Akagi-chan.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: The author introduced Little Enterprise (using Hao's design) around July 2020, and then the game made her canon in May 2021.
  • Unexpected Character: In a meta sense, Amagi-chan as the author did not see her release coming, saying she was the only one he didn't have a plan ready for.
