  • Adorkable: According to Jemma and Daisy, even after a year of acclimating himself to the modern age, Sousa still prefers to send letters over e-mails, was giddy over getting a typewriter as a gift, and cried his eyes out when Daisy showed him E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Daisy describes him as a dork with a big, affectionate smile.
  • Catharsis Factor:
    • After a season of her smug, superior attitude, Sibyl spends the entire episode being played for a chump by the team, losing at every turn and even being manipulated into helping orchestrate her own downfall.
    • Following an entire season of his smug, self-important bastardry, Nathaniel Malick ends up being utterly destroyed at the end of his fight with Daisy, whose family has suffered more at his hands than anyone else. On top of that, it's implied that between the two of them, he never had a chance of beating her in a fair fight.
    • After all the crap they've been through over the course of the series, Fitz and Simmons finally get their happy ending.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Alya, Fitz-Simmons's daughter, became instantly beloved by the fanbase, at least partly because she's living proof that the long-suffering Simmons and Fitz finally got the happy ending they always deserved.
  • Fanfic Fuel:
    • What kind of adventures await Deke and the remnants of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the altered timeline, and how different will the MCU's modern day be in this new future?
    • The team's circumstances at the end of the series (Mack as the director of a reborn S.H.I.E.L.D., Yo-Yo's missions with Piper and Davis, Fitz and Simmons's family life, Daisy, Sousa and Kora as "Astro Ambassadors", May as a teacher at a new S.H.I.E.L.D. academy with Flint as one of her students, and Coulson Walking the Earth) are rife with story possibilities.
      • Their actions following the Snap.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: Assuming that Joss Glennie-Smith's character is indeed supposed to be Malachi, we see the character's ultimate fate be subject to what is essentially a heroic version of Brainwashing for the Greater Good. In Stargirl (2020), the character of Brainwave—played by Christoper James Baker, the original actor of Malachi—is a major antagonist whose ultimate Evil Plan is to commit Brainwashing for the Greater Good.
  • Visual Effects of Awesome:
    • The Quantum Realm looks every bit as impressive as in the movies.
    • The nebula that Daisy, Sousa and Kora observe at the end of the episode is breathtakingly beautiful.
    • Lola’s upgrade would impress any of the Starks.
