- Narm:
- The scene where Billy finds Harland's recipe is meant to be serious, but is made comedic by the nonsensical "recipe card" he finds (which includes, among other things, a drawing of chicken), and his cheesy One-Liner:Billy: Secret's out, Chicken Man.
- At the end of the movie, there's a meant-to-be-dramatic Sequel Hook where Billy announces he's "found" Harland and Jessica. What makes it funny rather than shocking is the fact that he's just casually chomping down on a chicken leg afterward, which is more silly than dramatic.
- The scene where Billy finds Harland's recipe is meant to be serious, but is made comedic by the nonsensical "recipe card" he finds (which includes, among other things, a drawing of chicken), and his cheesy One-Liner:
- Squick: The reveal that Billy and Bunny had an affair. Not only is this already a little creepy, it's made worse by the fact that she's trying to get her daughter to marry him- making it somewhat incestuous in addition to being downright weird.
- Strangled by the Red String: Jessica starts falling in love with Harland after a single conversation, in which the only thing she learned about him was that he had a secret chicken recipe. Harland's so in love with her that even half-a-million dollars can't get him to leave, even after he's told she's engaged to Billy.
