- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The synopsis for Medusa mentions a giant weasel is among the obstacles medusa faces trying to get a MacGuffin. Such a monster is never brought up in the plot again, nor is it mentioned in the rest of the entry, and mostly just seems to be there as a plot device and referencing the Snake Versus Mongoose trope.
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- The fact that Neil Patrick Harris becomes the Eighth Doctor in this timeline, becomes more hilarious when Neil was cast as the Celestial Toymaker in 2023's "The Giggle".
- In the 90s Spider-Man film trilogy, Joe Morton gets cast as Norman Osborn due to some art in the comics that makes him look black; Joss Whedon decides to commit by later making Harry biracial. Come 2022 in Real Life, and the animated Spider-Man: Freshman Year was revealed to be giving the Osborns a Race Lift.
- In 1998, Nelson Peltz tries a hostile takeover of Disney, feeling they're not efficient enough. The year after it was published...
- Questionable Casting: Some of the casting choices are viewed as...questionable, in-universe and out. Examples include Neil Patrick Harris (at age 16!) and Jude Law as the title role in Doctor Who and Willem Dafoe as Batmannote .
- The Scrappy: Nerdicus and Dorkimax, the hosts of the web review series Talkin' Geek, only appeared in three entriesnote , but they cemented themselves among readers as this for their incredibly obnoxious personalities. Needless to say, readers were left satisfied by the third one being their last. Although some did have nicer things to say when the last one in question had them come to blows and break up.
