• Alternate Character Interpretation: While it's generally more accepted that the butcher demon had more lecherous intentions towards the sheep girl (and this is certainly more strongly implied by Alastor's reaction), some have theorized that he planned on killing and cooking her instead.
• Catharsis Factor: Despite how horrifying it is, it's still quite satisfying to see Alastor kill a rapist butcher.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: The sheep girl demon Alastor saves gained quite a few fans due to her cute appearance and kind attitude, the latter leading to speculation on why she's in Hell to begin with. Naturally, some even started shipping her with Alastor for a while (though this seems to have died down).
• Epileptic Trees: One theory among fans surrounding why the seemingly innocent sheep demon is in Hell is that she's a fallen cherub, due to her resemblance to the cherubs from Helluva Boss.
• Fan Nickname: Hotline Miami fans get a kick out of calling the unnamed boar demon "Martin Brown", because he's a pig butcher.
• Signature Scene: Alastor killing the butcher in retaliation for the latter trying to assault his female customer.
