Generally, Carazar Zone's channel is a great source of information about Season 2's production-related trivia, including characters' prototype designs, creators' intentions behind decisions and references, and changes in the script.

Examples which fall within What Could Have Been category have their own page.

Season 1

  • Episode 4:
    • When asked about the lack of Grett's Slippery Swimsuit scene in the remastered version, the creators described it as a "butterfly effect." Since Fiore wasn't confronted during the challenge, she didn't wet herself, which prevented Grett from slipping on a pee puddle.

Season 2

  • Episode 1:
  • Episode 2:
    • The cabins being co-ed was decided on purpose so that it could lead to comic and morbid situations in future episodes.
    • The initial challenges such as this one were tamer and required less elaborate animation and more focus on characters' interaction so as to overcome potential cancellation.
  • Episode 3:
    • The allegoliar shockwave of a bomb which Kai claimed Yul emits last episode was what let his hair loose during his outburst at the latter.
  • Episode 4:
    • The trick to the game of Rock-Paper-Sissors which Lake was about to mention was that it was meant to reflect personality type of the players. Yul was sharp as scissors while Maggy was fragile as paper. Another representation of the game and characters' personalities came from Maggy hitting Yul, as he hit like a rock and rock beats scissors.
  • Episode 5:
    • James was nude for his dare to follow the trend of nudity moments from Total Drama.
    • There's a clip of how several scenes would've looked like in Animate format of the web comic.
  • Episode 6:
    • Oliver's fear that he's being attacked by indigenous people upon coming across Kai and Maggy was inspired by Owen believing so after an arrow hit Mr. Coconut in "Camp Castaways". Kai's long beard was also inspired by that of Owen's from the same episode.
  • Episode 9:
    • The bar at which Connor and Oliver have a talk is the same background as the bar at which Ellie from the Adventure Camp beta season worked, but it is not canonically the same bar.
    • The creators are aware of the hatred Hunter has recently received and even realize that he's being hated for unintended reasons.
  • Episode 13:
    • The final challenge was meant to reference past challenges from the season. The part with the snowmobiles referenced Episode 9, the part with motorboats as well as the one with the bikes referenced Episode 1, the climbing and jumping from a cliff part referenced Episode 11, while the golf cannon referenced Episode 7.
    • The gliding suits were meant to represent the finalists' former teams: Riya wears green as she was on the Green Team, James wears orange for being on Orange Team, and Aiden's yellow was supposed to be a fusion of the two.
