    Five Nights at Freddy's

    Five Nights at Freddy's 2
  • In the trailer: "Hello? Hellooooo? Well, if you're hearing this, then chances are you've made a very poor career choice." Keep in mind that this is coming from a guy who was apparently dead.
  • The final line of the trailer, after listing off everything the player has to go up against: "AND ZERO DOORS."
  • "Uh, we're going to try to contact the original restaurant owner. Uh, I think the name of the place was... Fredbear's Family Diner or something like that." — Night 5 phone call.
  • Completing Night 5. The check's date reads "11-12-1987".
  • The entirely of Night 6's phone call, as it connects back to topics referenced in the first game and suggests that something bad is about to go down (the most important points are bolded).
Phone Guy: Hello hello? Uh... what on earth are you doing there? Uh… Didn't you get the memo? Uh… The place is closed down, at least for a while. Someone used one of the suits. We had a spare in the back, a yellow one, someone used it... Now none of them are acting right. Listen, j-just finish your shift. It's safer than trying to leave in the middle of the night. Uh… We have one more event scheduled for tomorrow: a birthday. You'll be on day shift. Wear your uniform. Stay close to the animatronics and make sure they don't hurt anyone, okay? Uh, for now just make it through the night. Uh, when the place eventually opens again, I'll probably take the night shift myself. Okay, good night and good luck.

    Five Nights at Freddy's 3
  • On Night 5, you hear a tape from Phone Guy firmly reminding employees not to take customers into the hidden and off-camera safe room. Then you hear his next line, and you get a clue as to what Springtrap's deal is, considering who's most likely to put on a costume and lure customers into a place where they can't be seen.
Phone Guy: And under no circumstance should a customer ever be taken into [the safe room] and out of the main show area. Management has also been made aware that the Spring Bonnie animatronic has been noticeably moved. We would like to remind employees that this costume is not safe to wear under any circumstances.

    Five Nights at Freddy's World
The ending is full of these.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location

    Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator
  • Many were surprised to notice that the free, innocent-looking pizzeria tycoon game is internally called "FNaF 6".
  • "Connection terminated. I'm sorry to interrupt you, Elizabeth, if you still even remember that name, but I'm afraid you've been misinformed." The first line of a long speech that reveals the location was a trap.

Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted
  • If you unlock the Curse of Dreadbear Easter Egg by finding the rabbit mask, then wear it while holding the Glitchtrap plush, you get a major whammy revealing that the player character didn't escape Glitchtrap's clutches after all and has pulled a Face–Heel Turn. Cue Sequel Hook.
"Yes, I hear you. I know... No. There's no miscommunication... I understand... Yes, I have it. I made it myself. I think you would like it... No, no one suspects anything... Don't worry, I'll be ready, and I won't let you down. It will be fun."

Literature:

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Silver Eyes
  • When Charlie asks what people thought of her father, in general: "Some people thought he did it, yeah."

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Twisted Ones
  • Courtesy of Springtrap:
I didn't take him [Sammy]. I took you.
  • The final line of the novel.
    John: That's not Charlie.

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Fourth Closet
  • When Jessica and John are hiding in a closet while Aunt Jen is speaking with Charlie, John finds a chest, opens it up and...
    John: Jessica.
Jessica: What, John? I'm trying to listen.
John: It's... it's Charlie. In the chest.
  • The very end of the book, which confirms the true fate of Charlie.
Beneath the telephone pole, the grass rolled with waves, brushing against the two stones that sat together in the setting sun. The first was Henry's. The other read:
    BELOVED DAUGHTER CHARLOTTE EMILY 1980-1983
