     Weight of the World 
  • Chapter seven: Remnant has nation-tans. Amber is Vale.
  • Chapter ten:
    • Canada and America were abducted by Atlas officials (including Ironwood), Mantle's Aura was transferred into Canada, and part of Vale's was put in America.
    • Atlesian Knights were responsible for the massacre at Westwind. They killed all the civilians in order to get to the twins.
  • Chapter sixteen: Emerald uses her Semblance to trick Yang into attacking Alfred, who Yang hallucinated was Neo. Yang ends her assault by shooting America in the abdomen and she is arrested. Her attack happens in the middle of the Fairgrounds and is broadcasted on live TV, allowing the whole world to see what she did.
  • Chapter twenty:
  • Chapter twenty-one:
    • Canada kills Cinder and thus sends the rest of Vale's Aura to America.
    • It is revealed Neo is Mistral.
  • Chapter twenty-two: America awakens with no memory while with Roman, Mercury, and Neo, who pretend to be his friends.

     The Shattered Soul 
  • Chapter nine:
    • Alfred discovers the truth about Roman, Neo, and Mercury. They attack him and leave him to die.
    • In a flashback, Mistral betrays Vale by sending bandits after her. This leads to Mistral's capture at the hands of the Branwen tribe, where she gains her current personality.
  • Chapter ten: Tyrian and Emerald ambush Ruby, Canada, Germany, Prussia, and France in Higanbana. Prussia is stabbed with Tyrian's tail.
  • Chapter eleven:
    • The nations and JNPRR find out about Atlas' experiments, Vale and Mantle, the nations (and how only they can reach and unlock the Relics) and Alfred's possible Death of Personality.
    • England secretly reaffirms with the other nations (minus Canada) that they will leave the moment they find America, leaving Remnant to its war.
  • Chapter twelve:
    • Canada realizes he has a Memory Erasing Semblance after accidentally using it on Russia (again).
    • Prussia isn't cured of Tyrian's poison and coughs up purple blood.
    • Alfred arrives in Kuroyuri.
  • Chapter thirteen: Tyrian and Emerald capture Alfred. They plan to use him as a hostage against Canada who they believe is Vale. Though upon finding Alfred, Tyrian is not sure which twin is Vale, so he decides to bring both of them to his Goddess.
  • Chapter fourteen:
    • The villains think France is Vacuo.
    • They also know where Mistral is, leaving only (the real) Vacuo hidden. Salem knows where three of the four nations that she needs to get the Relics are.
  • Chapter fifteen: Kuroyuri is overrun by Grimm and burning to the ground, the Nuckelavee arrives, and Italy is forced to use his pendant to get an injured Prussia and Germany home.
  • Chapter sixteen: Ruby activates Silver Eyes because she believes Pyrrha and the nations are dead. Jaune sees.
  • Chapter seventeen:
    • RNJR is told Pyrrha and the others are dead.
    • Jaune no longer trusts Qrow or Ozpinati and decides to find his own answers.
    • The nations are back on Earth and Pyrrha is with them.
    • Alfred does not trust anyone except Mattie and Pyrrha.

     The Depths of Deception 
  • Chapter twelve: Raven reveals Ozpin sent Summer to her death.
  • Chapter thirteen: During a doctor's appointment, America has a flashback to the Atlas lab. In it, he's vivisected by the scientists as they test the limits of his Healing Factor.
  • Chapter twenty-one:
    • America was secretly taken by a scientist and had his liver removed for study. All while he was conscious and aware. Ironwood executes the scientist and his assistant.
    • A Karkadann Grimm appears on Earth.
  • Chapter twenty-three: Yang's group finds out Salem's forces already have Mistral/Neo. They are then captured by Roman, who tells Ruby she has one day to rescue them or he will kill them.
  • Chapter twenty-four: Grimm appear outside of the World Conference hall. The formerly unaware nations find out the truth about Atlas, Remnant, and the Grimm.
  • Chapter twenty-five:
    • England reveals that over one hundred portals from Remnant opened up, all letting Grimm onto Earth.
    • A mine in Mantle collapses, causing a Dust explosion that burns the city, and Canada collapses with it.
  • Chapter twenty-six:
    • Adam reveals himself as Menagerie and somehow turns Blake's forces against each other.
    • Neo/Mistral dies in Haven's Vault after revealing Salem's forces took the Relic of Knowledge three days prior.
    • Canada's connection with Mantle's people is severed, leaving them to essentially waste away and die.
    • As a result of the above, America finds out England lied to him about the ritual's real purpose and that England intended to cut his connection with Vale's people without his knowledge or consent.
    • America, France, Australia, and Romano are captured by Atlas. note 
  • Chapter twenty-seven:
    • RWBY and JNR find out Pyrrha and the nations survived when they appear in front of them. Yang realizes Qrow knew the truth and lied about it. She floors him with a punch.
    • America finally regains his memories and wakes up in a cell.
    • It is not Atlas or Salem who took America. It is Doctor Polendina.
    • The kindly doctor from the Atlas lab flashbacks is revealed to be Doctor Polendina.
    • Why did Polendina take America? He wants America to bring Penny back.

     The Atrocities of Atlas 
  • Chapter six: An ex-soldier tortures America and carves the word "Sacrifice" into his back, leaving scars. A human left scars on a nation.
  • Chapter seven: VALE IS ALIVE! Amber woke up after America regained his memories and is now stuck in America's head, where she cannot interact with the outside world.
  • Chapter eight:
    • Polendina attempts to use his Aura-draining gauntlet to tear out part of America's Aura/Soul so he can use America's Semblance to bring Penny back himself. In desperation, America finally uses his Semblance on the robotic duplicate body, activating Penny 2.0.
    • It is also confirmed Atlas has become a dystopian Military State.
  • Chapter nine: Penny 2.0 activates and slaughters Polendina and his men, freeing America. America is then attacked by the Ax-Crazy soldier and kills him by disintegrating him with lightning. America also discovers Polendina does not have Australia, Romano, and France. Atlas does, and she is holding them in the Transformation Institute.
  • Chapter eleven: At Yang's insistence, Ozpin reveals to her that Silver Eyes cause the S.E.W. to go berserk and attack anyone near them, killing them with their Eyes. He also tells her that Summer died on a mission to kill Salem, a mission he "foolishly" sent her on that was actually a trap laid by Salem to lure Summer out and kill her. Ruby overhears and runs to her room, crying.
  • Chapter fourteen: Sun is Vacuo.
  • Chapter twenty-two:
    • The Institute guards begin executing prisoners in their cells. Neon panics and separates from the group and Weiss and Ruby run after her.
    • America, Winter, and France locate Australia and Romano, the latter of whom is in a coma.
    • Penny unintentionally finds Pyrrha and immediately attacks her. She nearly strangles Pyrrha to death with her wires. Penny 2.0 refers to Penny Polendina as "her" and a separate entity, confirming Penny 2.0 is not the old Penny. America barely stops Penny from killing Pyrrha by begging her not to hurt another one of his friends and Penny powers down.
    • America separates from his injured allies to go free more prisoners, and runs into an unresponsive Ruby and Weiss (who seem to be frozen in place note ). In the final scene, Atlas steps out of the shadows and greets "Vale".
  • Chapter twenty-three: America fights Atlas and discovers her time-stopping Semblance. It's revealed Atlas sees the people of Earth as so inferior to herself that she thinks they don't have souls. Atlas overwhelms America and tortures him, demanding he beg for her forgiveness. When he remains silent and only shows contempt, she throws her spear at Ruby with the intent to kill. Qrow jumps in the way and seemingly dies in Ruby's arms. This causes Ruby to activate her Silver Eyes.
  • Chapter twenty-four:
    • America is still conscious after Atlas's vicious attack. He silently begs Italy to shoot him so he can fall unconscious and heal. Seeing how much pain America is in, Italy does so.
    • Ruby activates Silver Eyes and uses them to disintegrate Atlas's arm and ear, forcing her to flee. SE!Ruby then turns on Weiss, throws her through a wall, disintegrates Japan's leg, and begins torturing him. Italy distracts her and is nearly enveloped by the Silver Eyes' light but discovers his Intangibility Semblance in the nick of time to save himself. He knocks Ruby out.
    • The others arrive and England takes off after Atlas, while Canada, Blake, Sun, Ren, and Nora follow him. Qrow is still alive, but Jaune says something is wrong with his Aura. Oscar reveals Atlas is heading towards her Academy's Relic Vault.
    • Atlas runs into a soldier and commands her to assist her to the Relic of Creation. The "soldier" is Emerald.
  • Chapter twenty-five: Emerald steals part of Sun/Vacuo's Aura, Atlas dies, the heroes retrieve the Relic of Creation, the Atlesian Knights are hacked again and begin killing civilians, and the villains successfully steal the Relic of Destruction from Shade Academy.
  • Chapter twenty-eight: Vale reveals why America has been weakening and suffering from random pains and nosebleeds. The Kingdom of Vale is dying, and he's dying with it.

    The Charlatan of Choice 
  • Chapter four: While discussing his trauma with France, America crosses the Despair Event Horizon. He completely shuts down emotionally and gives up on surviving the upcoming war. Canada and England also find out about his scars.
  • Chapter eight: Nora opens the apartment door to see Tyrian at their doorstep. America goes to meet Ironwood only for him to break out of his bonds and try to capture him. France discovers his Semblance while protecting Oscar. Ironwood puts a collar on America that will drug him if he uses either Semblance but America escapes him, only to run straight into Hazel. He barely escapes the latter and passes out from his injuries and the overdose of drugs pumping through his veins. Ironwood then escapes custody and leaves Frontier with several of his men. He is now free and his motives and goals are unclear.
  • Chapter nine: Roman takes the Relic of Creation for Salem.
  • Chapter ten: America asks England to put a sleeping curse on him that can be activated if he is captured. After agonizing over the decision, England obliges.
  • Chapter eleven: Jacques Schnee is executed by Atlas rebels and his crimes (and by extension, the SDC's) are exposed to all of Remnant.
  • Chapter twenty: Salem tries to infect America with Grimm essence. He and the others fight her off, only for Ozpin to reveal that was not her real body and she was nowhere near her full strength. Any Grimm the heroes face could turn into Salem. Ruby asks Ozpin to teach her about Silver Eyes.
  • Chapter twenty-one:
    • AGATE is attacked by an Atlas soldier and realizes someone in the American government is another Atlas spy.
    • Salem attacks Frontier, which causes America to go blind in his left eye. Those left behind in Frontier (which includes Qrow, Whitley, Sun, and Klein) may be dead.
  • Chapter twenty-five:
    • Ozpin is overriding Oscar's soul and will soon erase it, taking his body for himself.
    • Ozpin attempts to sacrifice America to regain more power.
  • Chapter twenty-six: Hazel's motivation is shown. Gretchen Rainart was a first-year Beacon student. Ozpin knew her Silver-Eyed teammate was unstable but sent Gretchen's team on a third-year mission (without their knowledge) to test his latest Warrior. This "test" resulted in Gretchen and her team's deaths at the hands of her Silver-Eyed teammate.
  • Chapter twenty-seven: Salem sends a specially-created Warden Grimm after America. It kills Blake and captures Canada.
  • Chapter thirty:
    • Penny 2.0 reveals she has Aura.
    • America is captured by Salem's forces.
  • Chapter thirty-four: Salem and Ozpin's past is revealed: they were created by the Gods of Light and Dark to watch over humanity. Salem planned to betray them and told Ozpin, but he did not warn the Gods. The Gods found out and cursed Ozpin to reincarnate until Salem is defeated.
  • Chapter thirty-five:
    • Salem reveals she plans to use the Relics to Kill All Humans.
    • Hazel turns against Salem.
    • The Relic of Choice is activated and sinks into America's body. Salem orders her forces to attack Vale and DC.
  • Chapter thirty-seven: Vale uses the Relic of Choice to kill herself to save America's life. America regains his sight in both eyes, which return to their normal blue color. His flames and lightning also turn blue which signify Vale really is gone.
  • Chapter thirty-eight: Salem takes control of Canada and orders him to attack America.
  • Chapter thirty-nine:
    • Canada tries to kill America and America has to fight him off. Canada uses his Semblance to Mind Rape America. America gets through to him and breaks him from Salem's control.
    • America reveals the Relics of Creation and Knowledge are inside Salem's body.
  • Chapter forty-one:
    • Copper dies saving Sealand.
    • Penny 2.0 lets her Aura out and discovers her Semblance.
    • Sun returns and uses his other Semblance to create a giant sandstorm.
    • Ironwood dies killing the Grimm Dragon.
    • America says he can use the Relic of Choice to give Ruby control of Silver Eyes.
  • Chapter forty-two:
    • Tony's weapon destroys the Grimm pools and weakens the Spawners and Salem.
    • Salem dies, but not before she stabs Weiss through the shoulder with her own weapon and stabs America in the chest with the sacrificial dagger.
    • The Relic of Creation is cut in half and broken by Destruction.
    • America asks Ruby to destroy the Relic of Choice using Destruction. She does so.
