- "Vampires" is probably the first major Wham Episode in the series. Valerie and Sam are revealed to be vampires, with the former being killed and the latter ending up Put on a Bus. Valerie's death and Sam's departure resolves the Love Triangle, but Riff getting a kiss from Zoe at the end results in more drama down the line. The arc even begins with a Love Chart to recap the cast's relationships, only for the narration to point out that many of those relationships will change in the near future.
- The comic gets a big one when Alt-Zoe is killed during the "That Which Redeems" Story Arc.
- The ending of "bROKEN" was a whole string of these: Oasis being revealed as a pyrokinetic and charbroiling Bun-Bun, Zoe realizing that Torg's in love with her, Zoe realizing that she's in love with Torg, too, Zoe getting burned, Sasha returning to the series, Torg being revealed as an Unreliable Narrator, and, of course, the cliffhanger.
- Let's not forget the "Oceans Unmoving" storyline, which featured the triumphant return of Bun-Bun.
- Or "Dangerous Days Ahead" which revealed that Riff was working for Hereti-Corp and that the evil Aylee wasn't the real Aylee.
- "Hi honey!" Let's be honest, nobody saw Sasha being a traitor coming.
- The end of 2017 saw several Wham Episodes in quick succession: Sasha is killed by Oasis, the identity of Kusari is revealed as Sasha, and it's revealed that she has three bodies at a time, the real meaning of the 'Schlock Triangle' first mentioned in 2008 and hinted at as early as "Dangerous Days Ahead" becomes clear, the nature of Oasis (and Kusari) is finally explained...
